The Grapefruit Diet is a great diet for dropping weight fast. You won’t feel hungry or weak like other fast diets can leave you feeling. The Grapefruit Diet doesn’t limit you to eating the same foods over and over, it offers variety which makes it easy to follow.
You can follow this diet for 12 days in a row, take two days off and then repeat.
12 Day Grapefruit Diet Plan
- Breakfast:
2 eggs cooked your favorite way
Half a grapefruit or one glass of 100% grapefruit juice
2 slices cooked bacon
- Lunch:
One whole grapefruit or one extra large glass of grapefruit juice
Generous sized salad with your favorite salad dressing
One serving of your favorite meat (about the size of your palm)
- Dinner:
One whole grapefruit or extra large glass of grapefruit juice
Generous generous severing of non starchy vegetables
One serving of your favorite meat (about the size of your palm)
Basic Grapefruit Diet Rules to Follow:
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday.
- Eat a variety of foods so you don’t get tired of the diet and want to cheat.
- Cut out all caffeine! Stick to decaf.
- Cut out all starchy vegetables.
- No bread or other starchy foods
